UPCOMING ACTIVITIES
HOSPITALITY WORKSHOP #3: On September 1 at 9:00 AM during the Foundations hour in the Sanctuary we will have our final installment of our hospitality workshops. This last workshop will focus on developing a culture of grace in our small groups. This is also the theme for our small groups for our 2019-2020 year of small groups. We hope you will attend and prepare for the upcoming year of small groups. You will enjoy some wonderful fellowship and a light breakfast as well as meet our small group leaders and hear a testimony of the importance of gospel-community.
GROW 252 KICKOFF: The grow 252 kickoff is September 4, 2019, from 5:30-8:00 pm. Join us for a corn dog dinner, jump and slide on an inflatable and learn about what we will study this year during grow 252. The inflatable will be available from 5:30-8:00 pm. The corn dog dinner for the entire family will be served at 6:00 pm. A brief meeting will take place in the sanctuary at 7:00 pm to learn about this year’s grow 252 and to meet the teachers.
ALL CHURCH PICNIC – SEPTEMBER 15: Immediately after the worship service on September 15, we will head over to Emma McCarthy Lee Park (Butternut Shelter) for a potluck picnic. We’ll have rousing games of kickball and volleyball or softball going after the meal, or bring your lawn chairs to enjoy the fun from the sideline. Last names A-M bring a main dish and dessert; Last names N-Z bring main dish and salad. Drinks and paper goods will be provided. College students, just bring yourself & friends!
MEMBERS’ MEETING: There will be a members’ meeting on Sunday, September 29th at 4:00 pm in the sanctuary. Please mark your calendars and plan to join us for this meeting. The agenda will be sent out via email.
