Love Has Good Manners
This three-Saturday seminar is designed to help students learn proper behavior, interpersonal skills and good manners. We want to instruct and motivate students to practice good manners and gain self-confidence while doing so. The seminar is for students grade K – 5th grade and will be held on three successive Saturdays from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Grand Avenue Baptist Church.
Each session will include biblical instruction about manners, instruction, role-playing opportunities and hands-on activities to reinforce the information taught. Attendance at each session is recommended as there is not time allowed to completely review at each new session. The final session will conclude with a meal for students and their parents where students will demonstrate what they have learned throughout the sessions. The meal will be on Saturday, February 16, 2019, at 5:30 PM. There will be a $10 fee for each student to help defray expenses for printing and supplies. In addition, the meal at the conclusion of the seminar will be $10 per person.
