Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry

As an extension of the Grand Avenue Baptist Church fellowship, the youth ministry provides a time for students grades 6-12 to have fun while growing in their friendships, in their walk with Christ, and in their confidence in the hope they have in Him (1 Peter 3:15).
The heart of GABC’s ministry to youth is to support parents in reinforcing the truths of the Gospel and its application to the daily lives of the students.
In addition to special activities throughout the year, we offer two weekly meetings—Wednesday night Youth Group and Sunday morning Foundations Bible Study.

Youth Group

Youth Group (grades 6-12) meets weekly from 6:30-8:00 pm on Wednesday evenings. Youth Group includes games, snacks, fellowship, service, and interactive teaching time.
A variety of other fellowship events happen throughout the year including holiday parties, ice cream socials, and more.
Brandon and Madreann Short are the Youth Group coordinators and are assisted by college students and other Grand members to lead this Wednesday night youth group time.

Youth Foundations

Youth (grades 6-12) are also offered a regular Sunday morning Bible study time during our Foundations hour (9:00-10:00 am).
