Our March and April worship services will feature a 10-week sermon series on “The Cross” (see the series outline here).
Please consider how you might use this 10-week series, before and following Easter, in a strategic way to engage both your heart and the world. Here are a few ideas:
Family Worship & Personal Devotions — Study the sermon passage leading up to the sermon, Thursday-Saturday. Then discuss and apply the sermon Sunday-Wednesday. Let the passages guide your prayers, leading you to worship Christ and seeking to be conformed to his image.
Small Groups — If you have a neighborhood Bible Study or church Small Group that is looking for a study in March and April, consider using this schedule to study along and apply this sermon series.
Evangelistic Outreach — The Easter season is an excellent time to ask a non-Christian friend to study the message of the Gospel with you. Consider sharing this sermon schedule with them, inviting them to listen to the sermons with you. This could mean they attend with you or simply listen to the audio from the website on their own, then meeting for a regular time to discuss the messages. A ten-week series, with a published schedule, allows them to make a short-term commitment with clear parameters.
