JUNE WOMEN’S EVENT: Please join us on Friday, June 9th, at 7:30 pm at the Martens’ Barn (51552 180th Street, Ames) for a night of fellowship! Our time together will include refreshments, worship music and reflection on the true cornerstone of our community. BOOK DISCUSSION OPPORTUNITY: This summer, GABC will have men’s and women’s groups meeting throughout Ames to discuss the book Life Together by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Groups will run from the week of June 19th through July 29th (No meeting week of July 4th). A limited number of books are available at the Welcome Center for those that register and need a copy.

IOWA CUBS BALLGAME: Join us for a night at the ball field as the Iowa Cubs take on the Omaha Storm Chasers at Principal Park in Des Moines at 7:00 pm on July 8th. We’ve got great seats reserved behind home plate in Section 9. Tickets are $5 each. If you cannot afford tickets, free and reduced price tickets are available. Ticket reservations and payment are due by Sunday, June 25th. Ticket orders will not be placed without payment. Changes to orders cannot be made after June 25th. Payment may be mailed or turned in to the GABC Office (612 24th Street, Ames, IA 50010). SUMMER FOUNDATIONS: Next Sunday, June 11th, join us at 8:30 AM for breakfast. Immediately following we’ll learn together about “Loving our Neighbor” through activities, teaching, and group application. All ages are welcome to attend.
