UPCOMING ACTIVITIES
FUNDRAISER LUNCH: Our team that is headed to India to work with the Calls and Go Deeper Travel is continuing to raise funding for our trip. TODAY, Sunday, January 13, 2019, the team will host an after church meal to help fund the trip. There will be a church-wide soup meal in the Fellowship Hall. You will have your choice of chili, chicken noodle, lentil, or vegetable soup. There will be dessert and veggies too. There will be gluten-free soups as well. There is no cost for the meal but we would ask that you make a generous donation to our mission team. We hope you will support us as we continue to prepare to go to India.
SEMINAR FOR CHILDREN: A three-Saturday seminar entitled “Love Have Good Manners…” is being offered for children in Kindergarten through 5th grade. The seminar will be held on February 2, 9 and 16 from 1:00-3:00 PM here at GABC. The seminar fee is $10 to defray costs of supplies and printing. MEMBERSHIP CLASS: Interested in becoming a Member of GABC? Foundations of Membership Class will be scheduled soon. This class covers our faith and practice. It is open to anyone wishing to learn more about life at GABC. Register at gabcames.org/membership or contact our church office (info@gabcames.org).
GABC WOMEN: Join us during the month of January as we read Contentment: Seeing God’s Goodness by Megan Hill. We will gather at the church for brunch and a book discussion on the morning of February 2nd from 8:30-10:00 AM. As you read, please note the questions at the end of each day. They will be used for part of our discussion. Please register by January 30th at gabcames.org/women.
BIBLE STUDIES: GABC Men’s and Women’s Ministries will be studying Genesis 16-50 this semester. Groups meet each week from February 3rd through April 14th. If you registered for the Fall Study, you are already registered for this semester and do not need to register again. New participants will receive an email to coordinate picking up their workbook. Everyone needs to complete Lesson 10 before their first meeting in February.
