UPCOMING ACTIVITIES
MEMBERSHIP CLASS: Interested in becoming a Member of GABC? A Foundations of Membership Class is scheduled for THIS SUNDAY, April 28, from 1:00-4:00 pm in Room 102. This class covers our faith and practice. It is open to anyone wishing to learn more about life at GABC. Register at gabcames.org/membership or contact our church office (info@gabcames.org).
ANNIE ARMSTRONG OFFERING: If you want to give to the Annie Armstrong Easter Offering please make your check out to GABC and put AAEO on the memo line. The offering will be collected through April 28th. We have a church goal of $1000.
COLLEGE MINISTRY EVENT: College students mark your calendars—May 3 at 7:00 pm is “Flix on the Farm”, a movie night, at Tim and Sam Young’s farm, 19052 590th Avenue, Nevada, IA. They will have a campfire, and also a movie in the barn. Invite your friends and plan to attend this event.
MEMBERS’ MEETING: There will be a members’ meeting on Sunday, May 5th, at 4:00 pm in the sanctuary to discuss the proposed budget for 2019-2020. Please plan to attend this meeting.
GRADUATION OPENHOUSE: Mac Felkins is graduating May 26th from Gilbert High School. You are invited to his graduation open house to be held on May 18th from 3:00-5:00 pm at the Felkins’ home at 5818 Alta Vista Road, Ames, IA 50010.
