COLLEGE LUNCH: TODAY, December 8, is our monthly college lunch. College students invite your friends and join us for lunch in the fellowship hall after the service. The Hornberg small group members are the hosts this month.
MEMBERSHIP APPLICATIONS RECEIVED: Rebecca Savage has recently applied for church membership. Please contact any of the elders with questions or comments regarding her application.
BRUNCH AND BOOK DISTRIBUTION: Over winter break, as a church body, we will be reading Supernatural Power for Everyday People: Experiencing God’s Extraordinary Spirit in Your Ordinary Life by Jared Wilson. During Foundations hour on December 15th we will have a light breakfast and distribute copies of the book for those who wish to participate. There will be a discussion on the book during Foundations hour on February 2, 2020.
CHRISTMAS EVE CANDLELIGHT SERVICE: December 24, 6:00 pm — Join us as we celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ in a service of carols and songs, Scripture readings, a children’s story time, and a Christmas devotion.

REMINDER FOR END OF THE YEAR CONTRIBUTIONS: A contribution is effective when delivered; this means that a check deposited in the church offering in January of 2020 cannot be included in 2019 even if it is backdated to 2019. There is one exception – checks that are mailed and postmarked in 2019 are deductible in 2019 even though not received until 2020. Non-mailed end of year contributions need to be in the church office by midnight on December 31st.
