As a church, we desire to see those from every people group on earth join us in joyful praise of Savior, Jesus the Messiah. International Students, Inc. is sponsoring a prayer event on August 19-21 and invites us to join them:
God has brought the nations of the world to Iowa State University. At the beginning of this new semester, let’s join in prayer for this mission field that is at our doorstep. We believe that ministry flows out of prayer; and perhaps one of the reasons we’re not reaching the unreached more effectively, is because we aren’t praying enough for them. So please join us as we seek the Lord for the nations He has brought to us!
People are being asked to sign up for a 15-minute time slot between 7:00a.m. and 3:00p.m. on August 19, 20, and 21 to pray for the international students at Iowa State. Our goal is to cover 24 hours of these three days in prayer.
