BOOK DISCUSSION OPPORTUNITY: This summer, GABC will have men’s and women’s groups meeting throughout Ames to discuss the book Life Together by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. Groups will run from the week of June 19th through July 29th (No meeting week of July 4th). A limited number of books are available at the Welcome Center for those that register and need a copy. A discussion guide is available at outrageous-unicorn.flywheelsites.com/studies and at the Welcome Center.

MEMBERS MEETING: On Sunday, June 25th, there will be a members meeting in the sanctuary at 4:00 pm. The agenda and supporting documents were emailed to members on Tuesday, June 13th, and are also available online.
LAWN PARTY: Join us for Outdoor Food & Fun. Not your average Hot Dog Bar. Homemade Ice Cream. Popcorn Bar. Sunday, June 25th, at 5:30 pm. GABC Lawn—west side green space.
IOWA CUBS BALLGAME: Join us for a night at the ball field as the Iowa Cubs take on the Omaha Storm Chasers at Principal Park in Des Moines at 7:00 pm on July 8th. We’ve got great seats reserved behind home plate in Section 9. Tickets are $5 each. If you cannot afford tickets, free and reduced price tickets are available. Ticket reservations and payment are due by next Sunday, June 25th. Ticket orders will not be placed without payment. Changes to orders cannot be made after June 25th. Payment may be mailed or turned in to the GABC Office (612 24th Street, Ames, IA 50010).
