GROW 252 KICKOFF: Join us for our 2017-18 grow252 Kickoff on Wednesday, September 6th. Plan to register your children ($15 includes a t-shirt, workbook, and awards). The entire family is welcome to enjoy a bounce house and walking tacos as we kick-off the next ministry season. (The bounce house is open to Preschoolers from 5:30-6:15 pm and elementary-aged children from 6:15-7:00 pm.) More information is available online at outrageous-unicorn.flywheelsites.com/children.

MEN’S AND WOMEN’S STUDIES: This fall, Men’s and Women’s Ministries will be offering Bible studies on the book of Exodus using curriculum written by Tim Chester entitled, Liberating Love. Groups will run from the week of September 17th through the week of November 12th. Study books will be provided during your first meeting time. Please prepare for your first meeting by reading through the book of Exodus.

SAVE THE DATES: FALL MICRO-CONFERENCES IN AMES: Please mark your calendars for two free micro-conferences coming to Ames this fall:

                September 29-30 —Parenting Conference at GABC

On Friday evening and Saturday morning, we’ll gather to worship, hear speakers from the Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission Parenting Conference, and then spend time in conversation about raising children and grandchildren. More information on speakers and schedule to come soon. The event is free and open to anyone. Whether you have children in your home or not, plan to attend and invite a friend as we encourage each other in raising future generations.

                November 3-4 — For the Church

In partnership with the Baptist Convention of Iowa, Midwestern Seminary is hosting a For the Church Micro-conference at Cornerstone Church Ames. Speakers include Jason K. Allen, Jeff Dodge, Jared Wilson, and others. Plan to invite your friends and small group to join you. Schedule and registration available at mbts.edu/ftcames.
