Holy Tuesday — Holy Week at Grand Avenue Baptist Church

Holy Tuesday — Holy Week 2020This post is part of our series of Holy Week services that include a song, a reading, and a devotion reflecting on events of that day in that last week of Jesus’ ministry. Find the whole series here.

Each day during Holy Week at GABC, we are publishing a brief service that includes a song, a reading, and a devotion reflecting on events of that day in that last week of Jesus’ ministry.

Our Holy Tuesday devotion is from Mark 11:27-33, 13:1-13.

On Palm Sunday, millions of Christians around the world began observing “Holy Week” or “Passion Week”—remembering the last days of Jesus’ earthly ministry leading up to his crucifixion and burial.

What better place to turn for comfort and hope than Scripture as our world walks through its own weeks of uncertainty, fear, and danger? This week, we will walk with Jesus’ disciples through their own week of uncertainty, fear, and danger. We will revisit the actions and words of our Lord, finding hope, peace, and salvation in Him.
